Watercolor Project
 
Intention:  We wanted the children to have a sensory experience especially since it was a rainy day.
 
Reflections and Quotes: 
 
             
           
   Squeezing water on a toy pig. "I'm giving the pig a bath."   Wiping the cow over and over again.    Covering the animals with wipes. "The pig and the cow are taking a nap."

Fun with Tape
 
Intention:  Teachers offered tape so that the children could post their art independently. 
 

Reflections and Quotes: The children started putting tape on the walls and the fence. Teacher Everett asked them what their plan was.  The children spent time working as a team on this for 30 minutes until they ran out of tape. They had discussions about who put up each color. Since they had to clean up the tape anyway, they made shapes out of the tape.

Drumming Time
 
Intention: Practice rhythm and fine motor skills 
 

Reflection: The children remembered the music activity from a previous time, and got the drums out again today. They laughed and smiled at each other as they played.
